Sir Peter M'Bride (Agent-General for Victoria), Sir T. B. Robinson (Agent-General for Queensland), Sir John M'Call (AgentGeneral for , Tasmania), and General Hirdwood attended the Imperial Air Fleet Committee's dinner in celebration of the Empire's victory in tho L air. General Seely, Air Minister, in a speech, promised on behalf of the Air Council that an effort would be made to advance aerial traffic. . He anticipated that great air routes to every part of the Empire would be established within the life of nearly all of us. Ho hoped the Dominions in forming their own air services would co-operate with the British fleet, as they had one great fleet at eea. General Birdwood said that if the war hnd lasted n little longer the German towns would have suffered more than they ever thought possible. The air force was just getting to its real strength.
