In the House of Representatives yesterday, Mr. Ceorga Hunter asked the .Minister of Public Health whether ho would favourably consider the question of junking some provision to meet the difficulty that luul arisen in connection with this matter in the country .districts—the dispensing or liquor mi dor doctors' orders. In some cases liquor had not been obtainable. Tho Minister said that instructions had been sent to tho hospital boards to make the necessary arrangements. In order that there might he no doubt about it, instnictioiiswould bo sent to the hospital boards to establish depots at, the branch post offices, which were usually in stores, where alcohol for medicinal purposes might bo obtained.
