DIRTY STREETS AND THE EPIDEMIC
Sir,—lt is high time something should bo done to improve .the-, street cleaning department of the City Council. Take, for instance, the side .channels and gutters of Cambridge Terrace, Glnizuee Street, Sydney Street, and others., How . often are they* swept and cleaned? It would improve matters greatly if all streets were thoroughly cleaned up, and the gutters and side channels sprayed with disinfectant.—l am, etc., CLEANLINESS.
