The interim report of tho liovnl Commission which inquired into tho -administration of tho Public Service Board con- -j tains some vory severe criticism, and discloses certain matters which it is anticipated will require immediate and drastic action on the part of tho Government. The report states that the Public S'er- j vice Act has not fulfilled the purposes for which it was created. Its failure to secure ; efficient and economical adminis- ( tration is attributable not to defects in the Act, but to lax and incompetent administration—Press Assn. .
