STEAMER SONIC. BY A MINE. New York. November 10. Tho American etea.mer Saemita struck a mine oil the coast of Now Jersey and sank. Thirty-seven of tho crew aro missing. The steamer Diunnni, bound from San Francisco to Manila with a cargo of gasoline, was struck by lightning on October 16 near Guam Island, and caught fire. Forty out of forty-six of the' crew are missing. A raft with six on board was picked up. The men had 110 food from November 16 to November 25.— Aus.-N.7i. Cablo Assn.
