The hearing of tho charges against seven men in connection with the recent burglaries was continued nt the Police Court to-day. On summary charges, Patrick Giinn was sentenced to a year's imprisonment for being in possession of. firearms, and three (liionths on each of three charges of theft and. ono of escaping from custody, the sentences being cumulative. Thomas Gunn was sentenced to eleven months and Alexander Gunn to twelve months for being in possession of firearms. Davern.and M'Lelland were sentenced to throe months' imprisonment for theft. '
