TAILORESSES' DISPUTE
A SETTLEMENT REACHED. By Telegraph.—l'reßS Association. DuiHdin, October i. In tho tailoresses' dispute a settlement was reached by the Conciliation Council to-day. The wages of jounioywomen are to be £1 10s. for tho first six months, and £1 los. . thereafter. Apprentices' wages work ,out at 2s. Gd. increr.se. It was agreed that tho time statement be calculated at tho rato of 9d. hourly. In the general conditions a special clause has been inserted restricting team-work. The agreement is for two years, commencing on October 21.
