RED CROSS "OUR DAY" FLAG DRIVE
The great "flag drive" in connection with .the Red Cross ','Our Day" appeal is to start to-day. A very energetic body of 'workers, Tinder the leadership of Mr. Matthew Can , , have completed arrangements for the successful carrying out of this scheme, which in Australia was tho means of raising £100,000 for Red Cross purposes. , . The whole of Wellington city _ and suburbs lias been divided into suitable areas. Workers from various branches of the, Red Cross and other patriotic organisations undertako to work them systematically, so there is no danger of overlapping. One of the attractive features of the scheme is that it entails no expense, so that all money realised from the sale of the flags goes direct to the benefit of the good cause.
