FIRE AT CHRISTCHURCH

By Telegraph-Press Associatioa Ghristchurch, September 20. A firo broke out early this morning in the office of Messrs. Rhodes, Hoes, and Godby, solicitors, at the corner or Manchester and Hereford Streets. The Fire Brigade effected a remarkably good save from destruction of the block. A good deal of damage was done by smoke and water to several offices in the building. A valuable law library in Mr. A. E. G. Rhodes' s office suffering- considerably. The building was owned by Messrs. A. E. 6. Rhodes and R. M. Macdpnald, and was insured iii rtho London and Lancashire Office for £3500, and in the Alliance for £3500.
