CONFERENCE CONCLUDED.

The following official intimation has been handed to the Press for publication: — The conferee of representatives or the New Zealand Mine Owners' Association and of the Neiv Zealand Miners' Federation, which has been held in Wellington! during the past two days, concluded, its deliberations yesterday evening. Certain conclusions were arrived at, tho terms of which will be_ immediately referred to the miners'' unions for ratification: The Miners' Federation, delegates will visit the various districts, and explain the findings of tho conference to tho members of the ■unions, after which a ballot will be talwu, and the result he made known at the earliest possible date. The terms of tho proposed settlement will .not be made public until after the ballot is taken.
