46th REINFORCEMENTS
WELLINGTON MEN MOBILISE,
Tho recruits from Group o (Wellington City and Suburbs) for tho Fortysixth Reinforcements assembled at thai Buckle Street Barracks yesterday afternoon. The draft was the largest that has been concentrated in tho c : ty for many months. The number of men on the roll was approximately 270. There were only half-a-dozen absentees, and they were accounted for. _ After the roll had been called, Mejor A. A. Corrigan, Group Commander, addressed tho men, answered a number of questions, and granted leave> until 6.15 a.m. to-day, when the men are to assemble at the north end of Lambton Station. r Major Corrigan mentioned that the granting of general leave was an experiment, and that if the recruits failed to attend promptly in full numbers ; n tho morning later drafts would not receive the same privilege.
