SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Ail enjoyable concert was given by Mrs.' Walter Gate at the (Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. The programme was received with tho heartiest- applause. Ttems were jcoiitrobutdd by the Mesdanies Jones and Walter Cate, and Hiss Peggy Jones and Messrs. T. .15. Jones, A\ alter Gate, Frank Palmer, and W. Hitchcock. Miss Healev was (it the piano. Mr. J. •Moore took for Ilia temperance address "Notes of a Week," and pledges followed. The competition prizes came from Tliorndon and Dannevirl;?.
