SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

A pleasant evening for the sailors in port was provided by Miss A. Crano on Thursday at the Sailors' Friend Society. Items were given by the Misses M'Clelland, Bacon, R. Crane, Mavis Phillips, and Wiren, and Messrs. L. rower, 'Dowler, and B. Jones. J T iss M'Clelhmd was at the piano. The electrically-lighted club swinging of the hostess was a rare treat for the men. Competition prizes came from iloser.eath. Mr. Moore and the sailors thanked tho performers.
