The causes of the five deaths this year were (one each). C S M., V.D.H., cancer of jaw, asthma, suicide. In the same period last year tho deaths were 17. . The reductions in cases of disease tor tho first six months of .this year compared with the same period ot last jeai, were 17 in measles, M m influenza, G m pneumonia, 1 in C.S.M.
