The following appointments, promotions, and repostings of officers of the Territorial Forces have been approved:— . ' APPOINTMENTS. Maj. J. H. Bartlett, 15th (North Auckland) Regt., appointed Deputy Director of Base Records on March 9, 1916, relinquishes the appointment (Aug. 20.) Capt. M. H. Oram, N.Z.F.A., is appointed Deputy Director of Base Records • • s Capt. C. X. Cox, 7th (Wellington-West Coast) Regt., and 2nd Lt. (temp. Capt.) E. J. J. Welch, Unattached List (b), are appointed for duty as ship's adjutants, and retain the appointment of quartermasters on H.M.N.Z. transports. Lt. (temp.) M. M'K. Milligan, 3rd (Auckland) Regt., is appointed ship's adjutant and quartermaster on H.M.N.Z. transports. Capt. P. St. J. Keenan, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, N.Z. Railways Batts., is appointed adiutant, Wellington Garrison Artillery Fivision, and «is temporarily attached to the Royal N.Z. Artillery whilst so employed. PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS. ' sth (Wellington) Regiment. 2nd Lt. F. Joplin is transferred to the Unattached List (b). N.Z. Forces Motor Service Corps, Motor-car Section, Wellington. W. H. Gibson, to be 2nd Lt, (on probation). N.Z. Medical Corps Lt.-Col. B. Tracey-Inglis, M.8., to be colonel. Capt. J. M'Ghie, M.C., M.8., is granted the temporary rank of major whilst so employed as' a medical officer in a military hospital.
