APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS
REPOSTING OF OFFICERS The appointments, promotions, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the Territorial I'orce. and the reposting of officers from the New Zealand' Expeditionary Force to the Territorial Forco havo been approved:— APPOINTMENTS. Major A. G. B. Price. 16th (Waikato) Regiment, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Adjutant-General, Auckland .Military District, with effect from August G, 1918. The undermentioned officers of the New Zealand Medical Corps are appointed mombers of the C 2 Re-examination Board, under the provisions of the Military Service Act, 1915:—Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) E. V. Fulton, M.D. (June 11, 1918). Major A. Stenhouse, .M.B. (June 15, 1918). Captain J. Sutherland} M.B. (Juno U, 1918). Captain A. G. Harvey, M.B. (Juno 15, 1918). Captain (temp.) A. Kidd, M.B. (July i, 1918). Lieutenant (temp. Captain) T. W. Maben, N.Z. Medical Corps, relinquishes the appointment' of Adjutant and Quartermaster on H.M.N.Z. hospital ship, and is appointed Adjutant and Quartermaster, Military Hospitals, Rotorua, and retains the temporary Tank of captain whilst so employed (August 8, 1918).
2nd Lieutenant (temp.) J. E.eid, Unattached List (b), -General List, is appointed Officer in Charge Transport, Trcntham Camp, with the temporary rank of 2nd .lieutenant whilst so employed (July 1, 1918). • PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS. Queen Alexandra's 2nd (Wellington-West Coast) Mounted Rifles. The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) C. S. Billinglnirst lapses, under the provisions of pnrafrrauh 89, General Regulations, 1913 (July 15, 1918). 4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles. 2nd Lieutenant F. E. Spain to ,be lieutenant, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913 (June 17, 1918). Garrison Artillery. Auckland G.A. Division. The cpnyuission granted to 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) J. C. Simpkiss is cancelled (July 8, 1918).
Corps of New Zealand Engineers. No. 3 Field Company. The undermentioned 2nd lieutenants to be lieutenants, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913 (June 26, MSJj-H. M. Clark, E. G. Hudson. Struck Off Strength of N.Z.E.F. Tho undermentioned are struck 'off the strength of .the N.Z. Expeditionary Force with effect from the dates mentioned:— Capt. D. M. Beere (July"18, 1918); Capt. K. W. Wrightson, AI.C. (July 24, 1918); Capt. J. W. Andrews (August 12, 1918); Lieut. V. Higgins (July 31, 1918); Lieut. L. Lewin (August 10, 1918); Lieut. W. R. Setter (August 12, 1918); Lieut. d'A. S. L. Grut; (March 3, 1916); 2nd Lieut. G. P. Chapman (August 16, 1918); 2nd Lieut. R. K. B. Brosnan (August 12, '1918). Reposted to Territorial Force. The uude.nnentioAcd, struck off the strength of the N.Z.
