TO BE ADDED TO TURNBTJLL COLLECTION. The Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. G. W. Russell) has received notice from the Public Trustee that the approval of the beneficiaries has low been obtained to the handing over to the Board of Science and Art of the historical manuscripts, and other , such matter belonging to the estate of the late Dr. M'Nftb. _ ... "Arrangements will be made," said the Minister yesterday, "to have this done at an early date. This will enable the valuable material gathered by the late Dr. M'Nnb in his researches into the early history of New Zealand to be attached to the TurnhuU Library, and the joint collection will be of the greatest value to the Government in arramrinn for the preparation of tho ,un\mtten pages of the early history of New Zealand. In the course of his researches, as is well known, Dr. M'Nab visited several foreign countries, including Russia, France, America, and Holland, and ho has left a quantity of most valuable material which will 'provide anvnle employment for'the staff of the Turnbull Library iu tho years \to come."
