FIRE AT TAIHAPE

Last evening a fire, the origin of which cannot be accounted for, practically Rutted an unoccupied two-story i'welvevoomed house known as the Arcadia Hotel. Tho (ire brigade savedtho building from complete desf ruction. Tho damage is estimated at J1250. Tho owner was Mr. C. Jlardon, of Auckland. Tho insurances are unobtainable, not having boon effected at Taihape.
