OVER 60,000 RESERVISTS REMAIN The reservists remaining in the. Second Division at the present time number rather more than 60,000. They are disTriljGted as follow :— Class C (two children) H. 075 • Class IJ (three children) 20,03(i Class E (four children) 12,470 Class F (more than four) 13,29.1 Total 60,476 Tho second ballot in Class C will he taken this week,'soOO names being drawn. There will be another ballot in Class 0 next month for the same number of names, and it is expected, that the men remaining in the class will be called up en bloc in September. It is possible that owing to tho intended reduction of tho reinforcement quota, following upon tho big ballots of April, liny, and June, the recruiting authorities will be able to drop ono of tho monthly ballots before tho end of tho year.
