ELECTION TO TILL A VACANCY. (By Telegraph-Special Correspondent.) Mastcrton, July 4. An election lo fill the extraordinary vacancy on the Mast'orlon Borough Council, caused by iho death of Councillor Flanagan, was held to-day, and resulted as follow:— Alex. M'Lcod <>25 W. Kemp 521 Mr. M'Lcod is president of tho local Labour Party, but was assisted by many who thought tlie election should not havo been forccd on the borough.
