A public meeting,' attended by over 700 persons, under the, auspices of tho Second Division League, unanimously decided to ask the Government lo raise tho ago limit of men for service to 51 years, in accordanco with tho English standard, i and also demanded immediate concession of tho league's standard of a miv.i-' mum clear income for a soldier's wife of £2 25., with children's allowance extra'. It was also resolved that, as the circumstances in connection with tho classification of some reservists appear to wurranfc inquiry, the Government be asked to arrange, for the medical re-examination of reservists on tho representation of the leaguo.
