Ihe Press Bureau states that the Swedish Government has ratified 'nu agreement, entered into in London, "by which the Allies will secure lie services of Swedish slapping to the extent ot four luuidred thousand tons deadweight. Credits have been arranged for tho Allies in Sweden. The exports of Swed;sli iton ore will bo regulated as between the belligerent groups. The import of Swedish paper and pulp into Britain has been arrauged under certain conditions. The Allies on their part a'rc to facilitate the importation of stipulated quantities of foodstuffs and other commodities required for Sweden's trudo aad industries, subject to a system of control, with guarantees against the reexport of imported articles themselves oii' any of their products or similar ar-ticles.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter. SEDITION TRIALS IN AMERICA O'LEARY ABSCONDS AND IS REARRESTED. Seattle (Washington), June 17. Jeremiah O'Leary. who absconded pending his trial on a charge of sedition, and who has since been indicted for alleged treason, was found on a farm on the lacific Coast and arrested.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. [Jeremiah O'Leary and six others havo been indicted as alleged spies, and 'charged with high treason. O'Leary and the others are charged with furnishing naval and, military information to tho enemy, financing Gorman propaganda and bonib plots, and placing spies in munition plants. JJio defendants includo Madame Devi Gloria, who is reported to ho a kinswoman of tho Itaiserin. Tho indictment alleges that certain German agonts in America are endeavouring to ascertain what support would bo available ' for sending German troops to Ireland, destroying English bridges and transport ; lacilities, and inducing the Irish to at- I tack the British forces, and also to as- < certain tho possibility of forcing Britain ; to withdraw troops from France for service in Ireland.] .
