At the inquest on the body of John Hob-ray Rogers, fouud in the harbour yesterday, the evidence showed that tho deceased had fought in Gallipoli, and was returned wounded two years ago. He uiiidemyent a serious operation at the Dunedin Hospital as he could not sleep owing to a noise in his ears. Deceased became very excitable and constantly complained of pain in his side and head. At Gallipoli a pieco of shell struck him in the groin. On the day of his disappearance ho seemed to be temporarily insane. A verdict was returned that deceased committed suicide while of unsound mind, due to war experiences.
