: —$ ~ Tho Eastbourne Golf Club advanced another stage at a meeting held on Saturday, Mr. M'Neil being in the chair. Arrangements with private property holders ro tho golf course have been completed; also the laying down of the turf on the tees, together with tho cutting of tho grass on tho courso proper. A lengthy discussion look place on the point of wliothcr.il limited liability company should be formed, but it ivas filially decided that t-ho club 6hould be an incorporated one. It was also decided that owing to tho accommodation being somewhat cramped as far ns the links are concerned 110 further nominations bo accepted at the present time.
