Wartime and British Arch went together over four hurdles. Bon ltevc was too good for Larry over five hurdles. Ditto ran away from Tetisl over four Jiurdles. Prosper jumped the big country in good style. Hopye, Waimai, Haiitere, and Banza Mist were sent two and a half miles over tho lug country, Coalition, Captain Loch, King's Park, Pienipotent, John Bunny, and Try Luck joining in below the sod wall. Uautero lost his rider at tho top of tl'.a hill, John Bunny fell at the wall into 1h« straight, Hopye finishing just in front of Coalition, with Waimai next.
