Another beautifully fine, day was the fortunate, experience, of Wellington and the surrounding district yesterday, and fair weather seems to havo been the rule generally except in tho northernmost and southernmost districts, whore, rain fell. Present indications aro for south-westerly breezes veering to freshening northcrlics, increasing cloudiness and haze, with a change to follow. A general fall in the- barometer is expected soon, preceding a chango in tho early part of next week.
