MR. E. H. HILEY'S TERM.

Tho term of offico of the General Manager of Railways (Mr. E. niley) will expire on August 8. "Mr. Hiloy is desirous of returning to the Old Country at the conclusion of his term of office," states the Minister (tho Hon. W. H. Herrios), "but, in order to avoid a break in the management in the absence of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Pinance, and in order not to havo a change of management during session of Parliament, it has been arranged that Mr. Hiley is to continue, in offico till the end of the financial year. Tlio question, of his successor will bo decided on the return of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance."
