HUNTLY MINERS' GRIEVANCES
A STOP-WORK MEETING TO BE HELD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 7. Tho Huntly miners will hold a stopwork mooting to-morrow to consider their grievances. These- are: First, tho explosive supplied is said lo bo very weak; second the new safely gates in the cages ordered by Mr. Reed, Chief Inspector of Mines, aro said to bo so slow and awkward in operation that tho men lose much time, and therefore an equivalent amount of money.
