In somo instances preliminary tests are being made beforehand. Olio event, in which this is being done, is tho platoon drill competition, in which fom , platoons from every company of tho Thirty-seventh Eoinforcenients have enterod. From these platoons, tho Chiof Infantry Instructor is selecting tho best platoon from each company, and theso will compete tomorrow. Among tho events on tho programme are a number whiclr will afford some excitement, such as barebacked raco for officers on horseback and tho boxing contests. Civilians aro cordially invited to bo present at the sports, which promise to bo somo of tho best over held in the camps.
