SERIOUS FOOD RIOTS IN HOLLAND
Amsterdam, April 14. Serious food riots are reported at The Hague. Eight people were killed and fifty injured.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SERIOUS CRISIS REVEALED. The Hague, April 15. Artillery and machine-guns have been posted in Amsterdam. Shops and houses have been barricaded. A number of people wore wounded by sabre cute and stones, and two wece killed by bullets ■ during the food riots on April 18.—"The Times."
