STARVATION IN HUNGARY
DEPUTATION TO THE EMPEROR, New York, April 15. The New York "World's" correspondent at Homo learns that u deputation of workers in Hungary asked tho Emperor Charles for higher wages, and also for meat and clothing. They said their condition was intolerable. They had not iho strength to work owing to the starvalion rations. Tho Emperor promised to consider the petition.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
