RAETIHI RELIEF FUND
At the last Pahautanui stock sain Mesßrs. Pcarce Bros, kindly donated a bullock to be auctioned on behalf of the Raetihi Belief Fund. Tho local farmers wore very generous in their bids, and tho excellent total of .£l3B 15s. was reached when the bidding ceased. ' Following are the names of tho farmers who so generously gave to help their brothers in distress;— Messrs. V. Mungavin, ,£32; C. Gray, .£29; E. W. Cottle, -Cl 5 .Is.; N. A.bbott, 3. -Gray, .£ls; W. Pcarce, ,C|2 55.; B. Mexted, ilO 55.-, Abbot. Bros., ,£lO. This amount has been handed to the Mayor of Ohalcune.
