In connection with tho Soldiers' Memorial: Hall Easter Egg scheme, ar- , rangements' arc being made by the executive of the New Zealand Natives' , j Association to have" a display of the • prizes in conjunction with an exhibiI tion of local industries in the show- ; rooms of the Dominion Motor Vehicles Co., Ltd., in Courtenay Place. The prizes will include a Chevrolet car, a 20-guinea sideboard, oil paintings, a valuable diamond ring, artistic furni- - turo, and hundreds of orders on grocers, drapers, etc., in the city. The object of the scheme.is to find the finance for a permanent Memorial Hall for soldiers in Wellington; An arrangement has been made with the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association to hold_ a swimming carnival on unique lines in aid of the ■ fund, which is finding' solid support in many quarters.
