THE MILK PROBLEM
9 __ AUCKLAND EXPERT CALLED IN. At the last hieeting of the City Council, Councillor A. Veiteh asked the Mayor if it ''were true that another milk expert had been brought to Wellington to; advise the council on the niiifc question. The Mayor said that the ma iter would be referred to in committee later on'. It is understood that the members of the council were then advised for the iirst tune that Mr. Ambury, of Ambuqs, Ltd., Auckland, had been brought down to look over the situation in Wellington, and inform the council io the best of his ability, what" was needed to improve the supply, of mills, to the city of Wellington. Neither the fact that Mr. Ambury's services were being secured nor his deductions iiave yet been made availablejo the Press. This information will doubtless be made available to citizens in the report of the special committee set up to report on the milk question, which is to be presented to the council on Thursday evening.
