A BOY ELECTROCUTED.' 'By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, February 18. At Te Aroha on Saturday, Richard Pilkington, 10 years of age, second son of Peter Pilkington, borough foreman of works, was electrocuted at midday. Tiie lad touched a live wire in the street. MAN FOUND DEAD. Cisborne, February 18. Enoch Richards, a storekeeper at Waipaoa, was found dead, face downwards, in a drain on Saturday evening. He left town by the- afternoon train and must have disembarked at the first station. He was found dead shortly afterwards. There are no suspicious circumstancos. FATAL DRAY ACCIDENT. Gisborne, February 12. At Ormond to-day a man named William Byrne, employed at Ngakarou, was killed while engaged in carting oats. The load began to slip, and deceased became entangled in" the reins and fell, the wheels of the dray passing over him. He received injuries from which ho succumbed.
