CRICKET ASSOCIATION
A meeting of the committee of the Wellington Cricket Association was held last evening. Mr. M. J. Croinbie presided. Application was received from the Hawke's Bay Cricket Association for a representative match at Easter. It was decided to hold over giving a definite reply , till advices had been received from Auckland, the lattor having been offered a return match at Easter. The following fixtures were made for February 16 and 23:—East v. Trentham, No. 1, Basin Reserve; Returned Soldiers v. Old Boys, No. 3; North v. Petone, at Petoue. JUNIOR FIXTURES. Tho next two rounds of junior fixtures aro:— February 9 and 16 —College v. Mar* ist, >Collego ground; Ordnance v. Munitions, Basin Reserve, No. ,4; Base Records v. University, Kolburn Park; Scots College v.' Hutt B, Hutt ground; Old Boys v. Hutt A, Hutt grouud; North, a bye. February 23 and March %-North v. University, Kelburn Park; Hutt B v. Marist, Hutt ground; Scots College v. Old Boys, Basin Reserve; College v. Ordnance, College grounds; Munitions v. Base Records, Basin Reserve; Hutt A, a bye. ' Third Grade. February 9—lnstitute A v. College A, College ground; Marist v. College B, College ground; St. Patrick's College v. Banks College, Kelburn Park; Institute B, a bye. February 16—Banks College v. Institute A, Kelburn; Institute B' v. College A, College; College By. St. Patrick's College, College; Marist, a bye.
