PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION
The conference of delegates from the provincial _ centres of the Protestant Political Association will open in Wellington to-' morrow, at 10 a.m., and will be continued on Thursday. Delegates expected are:—Auckland, Dr. Reikie, Messrs. Moore-Jones, and R. Clark; Hamilton, Mr. Ewen M'Gregor; Eltham, Mr. Ira Bridger; Wangamii, Rev. D. Campbell, Messrs. E. V. Laws, and D. Patterson; Palmerston North, Mr. E. N. Budden; Masterton, Mr. A. Donald; Wellington, Hon. W. Earnsliaw, Rev. G. K. Smith, Major J. M'Johnston, Messrs. George J. 'Petberick, and J. Aston; Christchurch, Messrs. M. H. Hassell and R. Lockwood ; Timaru; Rev. R. J- Liddell; Dunedin, Messrs. I. Macfarlane and J. Patton; Invercargill, Messrs, R. Gresliam and W. Agnew; also the national lecturer, Rev. Howard Elliott, and Dominion secretary, Mr. H. S. Bilby. The business to be dealt with includes several romits from the centres, adoption of constitution and rules, important matters of organisation, and general. Arrangements will probably be made for holding a Dominion conference at an early date, at which representatives will be in attendance from each branch throughout New Zealand. A social is to bo held in the Concert Chamber at 8 p.m. to-morrow, when addresses will be given by some of the visiting delegates and a musical programme provided. The proceedings will not be open .to the Press.
