MASTERTON NOTES
On the Masterton Bowling Club's green on Saturday, Duncan and Swincrd, of the Park Club, snatched the Grady medals from Dickens and Naylor. , During the last week or two a number of' cattle have died in the Masterton district from the effects of eating ergot. Some of the oat crops in the Masterton district have suffered badly from the depredations of small birds.
