VICTORIA CLUB.

A'hill rink competition was held on the Victoria Bowling Club's green yesterday, the proceeds being devoted to the Patriotic Fund. Teams were skipped by Mossrs. Jackson, Scott, Townsend, Langdon, Keith, Marks, Mack, and Ring. At the end of the day's play, Messrs. Scott and Keith had each won four games, and in the playoff Keith's team proved to be the winner. The winning team was Messrs. Baggott,, Armit, Yeomans, and Keith (s.). The runners-up were Messrs. Tiugey, Rawnsley, Kershaw, and ScoLt LYALL BAY CLUB. ' At' the tournament held at Lyall Bay yesterday the A section was won by Brack'enridge, Newtown, with four wins, Section B by Martin, Lyall Bay, five wins, and Section C by M. Smith, Newtown, four wins. On Saturday, Smith will meet Brackenridge and Martin will play the winner. Twenty rinks took part in the tournament. The following rinks will play for Victoria Club on Saturday against Hataitai:—At home: Dement, Goklie, Campbell, Townsend (s.); Evans, Port, Dinnie, Scott (s.); W. Reid, Ibbotso.n, : Betty. Chapman (s.); Besaut, Skinner, Baggott. Godber (s.). Away: M'Lean, Danby, Fraser„ Fossette (s.); Kcllow, Hislop, Kitto, Hatch (s.); R. Thomson, Fisher, J. Stevens, Keith (s.); Haugliton, Tingey, G. Stevens, Langdon (s.). Junior Stars: Jenkins, Revell, Piper, H. Reid (s.). '
