EMPIRE SERVICE LEAGUE
Tho publio meeting at tho Chamber of Commerce, Customhouse Quay, convened for to-morrow evening, as notified in our advertisement columns, will afford all who arc interested in the movement an opportunity of learning something of the activities of the Wellington branch of tho Empire Servico League. .For some time past a committee appointed for the purpose has devoted itself to tlio work of ascerI taining as far as possible the feeling which obtains in the existing relations between Labour and Capital, employer nnd employed. A report dealing with this very important subject has been drawn up, and will he sub: mitted to the meeting. This question of industrial relations is vital to the whole community. Tho Empire Servico League is widening fast. Branches of the league are being firmly established throughout the Dominion, aud it is stated that a growing interest is steadily developing in the work of the league. There is much work to bo done by the league, and the public aro invited to assist the local branch in the selection and nppointment of a genuinely representative couimittoe of advice.
