The retiring directors were re-elected. Tile chairman stated that the profits showed a. considerable improvement upon those of the preceding year. Tho liabilities showed a reduction of £24,260 after three years' war. and wero lower than over they had been. The war call in New Zealand had mado it difficult to obtain suitablo labour to carry on bush work to tho extent desired, and tho uncertainty regarding freights rendered it difficult to fix contracts.
