In connection with an application recently mado to the Industrial Court for the cancellation of the registration of the Coal and Shale Employees' Federation of Australasia owing to its members piirticipatiug in a sympathy strike during the late industrial crisis, the High Court has decided that such strike was not an offence under the Act.—Press Assn.
