BOARDINGHOUSE AT GORE ' J DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Proes Associ.ithn. Gore, November 20. A fire occurred early this morning in a twonty-ono roomed wooden boardinghouse in East Gore, occupied by Mrs. Stonhouse. The building wns practically destroyed. Tho origin of the fire is a mystery, but it is believed to have been caused by rats. The owner (J. Speden) and tho occupier are heavy losers. The insurance on the building is .£350, and on tho furniture .£3OO.

ANOTHER OUTBREAK AT COKER'S HOTEL. Christchurch, November 20. Shortly after midnight another fire, tho fourth, was discovered in Coker's Hotel. The bedding in a bedroom was alight, but the outbreak was quickly overcome. On tho departure of th 6 Fire Brigade, tho members of the Police Force took the building under their care.
