EGGERS TAKEN TO GRBYMOUTH. By Tcleeraph.-l'ress ABsociation: Christchurch, November 20. William Frederick Eggers, the Runanga murder suspect, was taken to Grormouth to-day to be present -when w. Hall's depositions are taken. It is coneiderod probable that the whole trial will bo heard at Grcymouth, not at Christchurch. Grcymouth, November 20. The prisoner Eggora was brought to Groymouth from Christchnreh yesterday. Although great secrecy was maintained by the- police n fairly large cjowd assembled at tlio station. Eggers was handcuffed to one of the party of police who accompanied liim. The spectators got just a moment's glimpse or the accußcd before )m was ushered into « motor-cai , . At 8.30 this evening , prisoner was to be taken to the hospital, where William Hall's depositions were tekon. Prisoner, noting on tho advice of Wβ lawyer, did not proceed to tho hospital. Eggera will come before the Court here at the ond of the week. Mr. Hall eeems slightly bettor to-night, but there is little .hope of recover}', as tho lower lhnbe are paralysed.
