MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED
LOSES CONTROL DESCENDING A HILL. (B.t TelograDh-fiDOclal Correspondent.) Feildinrj, November 20. George Hatherly, a returned soldier, met with a motor-cycle accident near Bulls yesterday. He was travelling towards Palmerston North at a high late of speed, and when going down a eteep. Mil between Bulk and Rangitikei Bridge the machine got out of control, wobbled badly, and then came down heavily with its rider. Fortunately the accident was witnessed, and Constable Wileon, with Mr. Hosking and his car, were soon on the sccno and eonveyd Mr. Hatherly, who was in a semi-coasoious erudition and bleeding profusely' from severe injuries to his head, to D.*. Watson's surgery for medical attention. Later on in tho evening the injured man wne romoved to Wanganni Hospital. Mr. Hatherly was collecting for the' Wellington Boys' Institute.
