Dunedin, October 21. At Rurnside yards, 153 fat cattle wore penned. The majority were medium and light bullocks. Demand was keen nnd prices higher than last: week. Prime heavy bullocks, ,£3O 2s. 6d.; medium, £23 10s. to i! 23 2s. 6d.; others, J!18 upwards; best cows, JEI9; medium, £\;> to £11; others, upwards. The number of sheep penned was 2790. The yarding of heavy sheep was inj excess of butchers' requirements, and prices declined Is. 6d. to 2a. per head. Medium sold at about Into rates. Prime heavy wethers, Site, to f)Ss.; prime, 48s. to 535:; medium, 425. to ■Ife.; light unfinished ewes, 535. 3d.; oneextra special, 70s. 3d.; heavy, 455. to 51s. 9d.; medium, 40s. to. 463.; others,. 355. upwards. There were 435 lambs penned. Best brought 325.; medium, 255. to 27e. M.
