At Tuesday's meeting of the Wellington Centre deputations from both tiio I'otone Club and tho Petonc Municipal Club were heard, and as tho result of 'ho conference the new municipal ciub's rcpiwutalives stated that they would bo quite satisfied if clubs nfliliated *<• tho cralro wore given the right to pla.V friendly matches with the' members of the raw club, without tho latter being pressed to iiilffiation. The request was ciinsideicd a reasonable one, and clubs' 'ire 1o bo given permission lo play sudi matches if they choose lo do so. • ' !
