The Mayor replied:— "Members Parliament can neutralise Trades pressure if thoy act according to their convictions. If the Government does not provide for G o'clock closing an amendment can lie moved inserting it. Government counting votes by expressions of members' speeches. Anv'depu. tation farcical at present."
