In May tho services of tho liev. J. M. Thomson, M.A., were secured to conduct tho work of tlie church until December 31 next. The position as : to .(ho pastorate is to bo reviewed at- a ■meeting of the Selection Committee to be called in October. Tho'attendances at communion sendees for the. year were: September, 111; December, 11!); March, 94; June,,97. Tho.collectors for foreign missions' raised £U 9s. 3d. by_ direct contributions from tho congregation; and JM4'l!)s. Gd'. has been collected for homo missions. The Women's Guild haß made a largo number of garments for tho Red Cross Society and tho Lady Liverpool Committee, and also sent'small parcels to tho boys at the front. Tho Sabbath School lias a membership of 101, an increase of 2G over that of tho previous year. The thanks of tho session are accorded to tho Rev. J. dimming, interim Moderator. The report of the Board of Management states that tho ordinary collections durfng tho year ended .Tuno 30 amounted to ,£33-1 15s. Ltd., against .£321 9s. lid. the previous year. A. marked fallingoff is shown in the incomo from St. Andrew's Fund, which this year is .£2OO 10s., against. .C 271 12s. Gd. for (lie previous year. Tho item Ministerial supply show a largo reduction, being .£341 17s. Bd. against ,£SOO for tho previous year. . Tho statement of incomo and .expenditure shows tho total incomo during tho year to have been JiIOGS •!«. Id., and tho expenditure was .£1099 12s, 9d.
