DEMAND POR INCREASE. The demand that old-age pensions should- be incieased was urged again ia the House of Representatives yesterday byDr. Thacker. He asked the Minister for Pensions (Mr? Myers) whether the Government had decided to grant the increase. . Mr. Myers (replying): I fully realise the importance of the question. Dr. Thacker: Why don't you do some- . thing? This'is "urgent! ' - Mr. Myers said, that had been very fully-occupied lately, but yery spon Cabinet would be able to consider the question and the House would be inform-, ed of the decision.' ■'"•■■
